The Labor Department will release U.S. consumer inflation data for February at 8:30 am ET Wednesday. Ahead of the data, the greenback was steady against its major rivals.
The greenback was worth 1.1344 against the euro, 104.71 against the yen, 0.9342 against the franc and 1.2938 against the pound at 8:25 am ET.
