The U.S. durable goods orders data for February is set for release at 8:30 am ET Wednesday. Ahead of the data, the greenback held steady against its major counterparts.
The greenback was worth 111.32 against the yen, 1.0807 against the euro, 1.1864 against the pound and 0.9806 against the franc at 8:25 am ET.
