South Korea's confidence among manufacturers fell for the third month in April, and sentiment among non-manufacturers declined for the fourth straight month, survey data from Bank of Korea showed on Wednesday.

In the manufacturing sector, the business survey index on business conditions decreased to 52 in April from 56 in March. The outlook index fell four points to 50.

In the non-manufacturing sector, the business survey index on business conditions decreased to 50 in April from 53 in the previous month and the outlook fell two points to 50.

The economic sentiment index declined to 55.7 in April from 63.7 in the prior month.

The survey was conducted among 3,696 companies between April 13 and 21.
