South Korea's unemployment rate remained stable in April, figures from Statistics Korea showed on Wednesday.
The jobless rate came in at a seasonally adjusted 3.8 percent in April, the same as seen in March. In the same month last year, the unemployment rate was 4.0 percent.
On an unadjusted basis, the unemployment rate remained unchanged at 4.2 percent in April.
The number of unemployed decreased to 1.172 million in April from 1.180 million in March.
The number of employed persons decreased by around 476,000 from last year to 26.562 million.
