U.S. GDP data for the first quarter, weekly jobless claims for the week ended May 23 and durable goods orders for April are due at 8:30 am ET Thursday. Before these reports, the greenback held steady against its major counterparts.
The greenback was worth 107.74 against the yen, 0.9701 against the franc, 1.2274 against the pound and 1.1013 against the euro as of 8:25 am ET.
