At 4.30 am ET Monday, UK Markit/CIPS final PMI data is due. The final PMI reading is seen at 40.7 versus 32.6 in April and the flash estimate of 40.6.
Ahead of the data, the pound held steady against the yen, but rose against the rest of major rivals.
The pound was worth 1.2395 against the greenback, 133.21 against the yen, 1.1895 against the franc and 0.8974 against the euro as of 4:25 am ET.
