Fed's Industrial production for September will be published at 9.15 am ET Friday. Ahead of the data, the greenback traded mixed against its major counterparts. While it rose against the pound and the yen, it dropped against the euro and the franc.
The greenback was worth 1.1728 against the euro, 105.35 against the yen, 0.9135 against the franc and 1.2891 against the pound at 9:10 am ET.
