At 2.00 am ET Wednesday, the Office for National Statistics has released UK consumer and producer prices and public sector net borrowing data for September. The pound changed little against its major counterparts after the data.
The pound was trading at 1.2978 against the greenback, 0.9127 against the euro, 1.1756 against the franc and 136.65 against the yen around 2.05 am ET.
