At 5.00 am ET Thursday, Eurostat has released euro area retail sales data. The euro changed little against its major rivals after the data.
The euro was trading at 1.1790 against the greenback, 122.92 against the yen, 1.0706 against the franc and 0.9043 against the pound around 5:02 am ET.
