At 5.00 am ET Wednesday, Eurostat publishes euro area producer price figures. Ahead of the data, the euro slipped against the pound, but rose against the rest of major rivals.
The euro was worth 129.37 against the yen, 1.2105 against the greenback, 0.8654 against the pound and 1.1081 against the franc as of 4:55 am ET.
