At 2.00 am ET Friday, Destatis has released Germany's industrial production and foreign trade figures. The euro changed little against its major counterparts after these data.
The euro was trading at 1.2060 against the greenback, 131.59 against the yen, 1.0946 against the franc and 0.8672 against the pound around 2:05 am ET.
