At 5.00 am ET Thursday, Eurostat has released euro area unemployment data for August. After the data, the euro changed little against its major rivals.
The euro was trading at 1.1605 against the greenback, 129.83 against the yen, 0.8633 against the pound and 1.0840 against the franc around 5:02 am ET.
