At 2.00 am ET Thursday, Destatis has released Germany's industrial production for August. The euro changed little against its major rivals after the data.
The euro was trading at 1.1552 against the greenback, 129.79 against the yen, 0.8506 against the pound and 1.0721 against the franc around 2:04 am ET.
