UK Markit/CIPS composite PMI data is due at 4.30 am ET Friday. Ahead of the data, the pound traded mixed against its major rivals. While it held steady against the yen, it dropped against the rest of major rivals. The pound was worth 1.3778 against the greenback, 156.99 against the yen, 1.2626 against the franc and 0.8452 against the euro as of 4:25 am ET.
