UK Markit/CIPS composite Purchasing Managers' survey results have been released at 4:30 am ET Tuesday. The pound changed little against its major rivals after the data.
The pound was trading at 153.59 against the yen, 1.2473 against the franc, 1.3384 against the greenback and 0.8415 against the euro around 4:35 am ET.
