In an interview with NBC, the new President admitted that he intends to help more than 11 million people living illegally to obtain US citizenship. Biden also considers it his duty to support the state authorities in the fight against coronavirus with a significant package of fiscal incentives.

Among other things, on November 24, Biden announced the names of key members of the new US administration - the spheres of international politics and national security will receive new leaders. So, Biden nominated former Fed chair Janet Yellen for the post of head of the Treasury Department.

Avril Haines – former Deputy national security adviser to the President of the United States in 2015-2017 and former Deputy Director of the CIA in 2013-2015, will be appointed to the post of head of the CIA. If appointed, she will be the first woman to lead American intelligence.

Anthony Blinken will take over as Secretary of State. Blinken served as Deputy National Security Adviser to former US President Barack Obama in 2013-2015.

Jake Sullivan, one of Hillary Clinton's closest associates and former US Secretary of State in 2009-2013, will take the post of National Security Advisor.
