In July 2025, Lithuania's industrial production saw a 1.8% increase compared to the same month the previous year, showing a reduction from the heightened 4.9% growth observed in June after revisions. This slowdown was primarily attributed to a decrease in the growth rate of the manufacturing sector, which recorded a 1.9% rise, down from June's 5.2%. Meanwhile, there was a further decline in activities related to water supply, sewerage, waste management, and remediation services, which dropped by 4.1%, deteriorating from the previous month's 3.4% decrease. In contrast, there were positive developments in other areas; the production of electricity, gas, steam, and air-conditioning supply increased by 8.0%, up from 7.6%, while mining and quarrying experienced a recovery with a 0.4% growth, bouncing back from a 5.2% decline. When adjusted for seasonal variations, industrial output decreased by 1.8% on a monthly basis in June, following a 2.7% contraction in the month prior.
