European equity markets appeared poised for a robust opening on Friday, reflecting global uptrends following U.S. inflation figures that matched forecasts. This development has strengthened the anticipation of a Federal Reserve rate cut in the upcoming week. Investors were also processing the European Central Bank's decision from Thursday to maintain its policy rate at 2% for the second consecutive meeting. ECB President Christine Lagarde asserted that the bank is well-positioned and noted that economic risks have become more balanced. The focus now shifts to the United Kingdom's GDP data for July and the finalized inflation figures for August from across the eurozone. In early premarket trading, both Euro Stoxx 50 and Stoxx 600 futures saw increases of roughly 0.2%.
