In October 2025, Ghana experienced a notable decrease in its annual inflation rate, reaching an over four-year low of 8%, down from 9.4% in September. This marks the tenth consecutive period of decreasing price growth, aligning with the Bank of Ghana's target range of 8%, which allows for a variability of 6–10%. Specifically, food inflation decreased to 9.5%, compared to 11% in the previous month, while the growth of non-food prices reduced to 6.9% from 8.2%.
