Lithuania’s current account surplus widened sharply to EUR 473.01 million in December 2025, up from EUR 24.71 million in the same month a year earlier. The services surplus increased to EUR 908.90 million from EUR 713.60 million, while the secondary income surplus rose to EUR 109.97 million from EUR 95.68 million a year before. At the same time, the goods deficit narrowed to EUR 488.25 million from EUR 629.13 million, and the primary income deficit shrank to EUR 57.61 million from EUR 155.44 million. Over the full year, however, Lithuania posted a current account deficit of EUR 204.79 million, compared with a surplus of EUR 1.43 billion in the previous year.
