US energy companies withdrew 132 billion cubic feet (bcf) of natural gas from storage in the week ending February 27, 2026, slightly exceeding market expectations for a 121 bcf draw. Total inventories fell to 1.886 trillion cubic feet, leaving stockpiles 6.5% above their level a year earlier but 2.2% below the five-year average. The latest decline followed a 52 bcf withdrawal in the previous week.
