At 4.30 am ET Friday, the Office for National Statistics has published UK GDP data for the second quarter as well as industrial and construction output and foreign trade figures for June. After these reports, the pound changed little against its major rivals.
The pound was trading at 141.45 against the yen, 1.2691 against the franc, 1.2760 against the greenback and 0.8975 against the euro around 4:31 am ET.
