The U.S. weekly jobless claims for the week ended May 18 have been released at 8:30 am ET Thursday. After the data, the greenback dropped against its major rivals.
The greenback was trading at 109.96 against the yen, 1.0069 against the franc, 1.2646 against the pound and 1.1143 against the euro around 8:32 am ET.
