At 8:30 am ET Friday, Statistics Canada has released Canada CPI for July.
Following the data, the loonie climbed against its major rivals.
The loonie was trading at 1.3082 against the greenback, 1.4903 against the euro, 84.34 against the yen and 0.9516 against the aussie around 8:32 am ET.
