Following the release of UK factory PMI data at 5.30 am ET Thursday, the pound fell slightly against its major counterparts.
The pound was trading at 1.2892 against the greenback, 1.2938 against the franc, 0.8824 against the euro and 145.62 against the yen around 5:32 am ET.
