South Africa's wholesale sales decreased in June after recovering in the previous month, preliminary figures from Statistics South Africa showed Thursday.
Wholesale sales dropped 0.5 percent year-over-year in June, reversing a 0.5 percent rise in May.
On a monthly basis, wholesale sales climbed a seasonally adjusted 1.4 percent from May, when it increased by 1.1 percent.
At current prices, wholesale trade grew 6.4 percent annually and by 2.3 percent monthly in June.
