The pound advanced against the Japanese currency during early European deals on Friday. The pound rose to 134.69 against the yen at 5:50 am ET. If the pound gains further, it may target around the 135.30 level. At present, the pound is trading at 134.55, up from yesterday's closing quote of 134.08.
