Swiss bank Credit Suisse Group AG's shares dropped on Thursday on reports that it would consider a share sale over a Swiss IPO to strengthen its capital.
Credit Suisse may sell new shares representing 10 percent of its outstanding stock, or about 3.1 billion Swiss francs ($3.12 billion), Bloomberg reported, citing people familiar with the matter.
The company was not immediately available to comment on the matter.
