Hungary's industrial production growth eased markedly as initially estimated in July, latest data from the Hungarian Central Statistical Office showed Wednesday.

The volume of industrial production edged up a working-day-adjusted 0.2 percent year-over-year in July, well below the 6.5 percent gain in the prior month. That was in line with the flash data published on September 6.

Without adjustment, industrial production increased the same 0.2 percent annually in July.

On a monthly basis, industrial production dropped a seasonally and working-day-adjusted 4.2 percent in July, which was worse than the 1.3 percent decrease in June. These figures also confirmed flash data.
