The pound weakened further against the other major currencies in the European session on Thursday.

The pound hit 3-day lows of 147.50 against the yen and 1.2798 against the franc, off its early weekly high of 149.07 and a 3-day high of 1.2903, respectively.

The pound slipped to a 4-week low of 0.9025 against the euro and a 2-day low of 1.3141 versus the dollar, from its early high of 0.8950 and an 8-day high of 1.3265, respectively.

The next possible support for the pound is seen around 146.00 against the yen, 1.265 against the franc, 0.915 against the euro and 1.30 against the greenback.
