Public sector finance from the UK is due on Tuesday, headlining a light day for the European economic news.

At 2.00 am ET, Swiss foreign trade data is due for October. The trade surplus totaled CHF 2.92 billion in September. In the meantime, Statistics Finland releases unemployment figures.

At 4.30 am ET, the Office for National Statistics is scheduled to issue UK public sector finance data. The budget deficit is forecast to rise to GBP 6.5 billion in October from GBP 5.3 billion in September.

At 6.00 am ET, the Confederation of British Industry releases Industrial Trends survey. The industrial orders balance is seen at 3 percent in November versus -2 percent in October.
