The pound advanced against its major counterparts in late Asian deals on Monday.
The U.K. currency rose back to 0.8816 against the euro, from a low of 0.8823 hit at 6:00 pm ET.
The pound advanced to 150.35 against the yen, 1.3349 against dollar and 1.3214 against franc, off its early lows of 149.78 and 1.3310, and a 5-day low of 1.3174, respectively.
If the pound rises further, it may find resistance around 1.35 against the greenback, 152.00 against the yen, 1.34 against the franc and 0.86 against the euro.
