The manufacturing sector in Vietnam continued to expand in July, albeit at a slower pace, the latest survey from Nikkei revealed on Wednesday with a PMI score of 54.9.
That's down from 55.7 in June, although it remains above the boom-or-bust line of 50 that separates expansion from contraction.
Individually, New Orders rose sharply amid accelerated export growth.
This marked the eighth straight month of output growth, while the rate of job creation remained elevated.
