The Bank of England is expected to raise its interest rate and retain asset purchase programme at the end of the monetary policy meeting, on Thursday.

The announcement is due at 7.00 am ET. The bank is also scheduled to publish its quarterly Inflation Report.

At 1.45 am ET, the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs releases Swiss consumer sentiment survey data. Economists forecast the index to remain unchanged at 2 in July.

At 3.15 am ET, Swiss retail sales data is due. Economists forecast sales to remain flat in May, in contrast to a 0.1 percent drop in April.

At 4.30 am ET, IHS Markit is scheduled to release UK construction Purchasing Managers' Index for July. The index is expected to fall to 52.8 in July from 53.1 in June.

At 5.00 am ET, Eurostat releases euro area producer prices for June. Producer price inflation is expected to rise to 3.5 percent from 3 percent in May.
