At 4:30 am ET Tuesday, IHS Markit will release U.K. construction PMI for November. Ahead of the data, the pound advanced against its major counterparts.
The pound was worth 1.2813 against the greenback, 0.8891 against the euro, 1.2755 against the franc and 144.62 against the yen as of 4:25 am ET.
