Canada GDP data for January and industrial product price index for February are due at 8:30 am ET Friday. Ahead of these data, the loonie traded mixed against its major counterparts. While the loonie rose against the greenback and the yen, it held steady against the aussie and the euro.
The loonie was worth 82.54 against the yen, 0.9517 against the aussie, 1.5071 against the euro and 1.3420 against the greenback as of 8:25 am ET.
