The U.S. weekly jobless claims for the week ended May 18 will be out at 8:30 am ET Thursday. Ahead of the data, the greenback traded mixed against its major rivals. While the greenback dropped against the franc, it held steady against the rest of major rivals.
The greenback was worth 110.04 against the yen, 1.0078 against the franc, 1.2638 against the pound and 1.1138 against the euro as of 8:25 am ET.
