Economic sentiment from euro area and consumer confidence from Germany are due on Tuesday, headlining a busy day for the European economic news.

At 1.45 am ET, Swiss GDP data is due from the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs, or SECO. The economy is forecast to grow 0.3 percent sequentially in the first quarter, following the 0.2 percent expansion in the fourth quarter.

At 2.00 am ET, Germany's GfK consumer sentiment data is due. The forward-looking index is seen unchanged at 10.4 in June.

At 2.45 am ET, France's Insee publishes consumer sentiment survey results for May.

At 3.00 am ET, the National Institute of Economic Research releases Sweden's economic tendency survey results. Sweden's retail sales data is also due. Sales are forecast to climb 1.2 percent on month in April, following a 0.5 percent rise in March.

At 4.00 am ET, the European Central Bank is set to publish monetary aggregates for April. M3 is forecast to climb 4.3 percent annually, after rising 4.5 percent in March.

At 5.00 am ET, Eurozone economic confidence survey results are due. The Eurozone economic sentiment index is forecast to fall to 103.8 in May from 104 in April.

At 8.00 am ET, Hungary's central bank is set to announce its rate decision. The bank is expected to hold its key rate at 0.90 percent.
