At 4.00 am ET Monday, Germany's Ifo business sentiment survey results have been released. Following the data, the euro gained against its major counterparts.
The euro was trading at 122.20 against the yen, 1.1123 against the franc, 0.8940 against the pound and 1.1376 against the greenback around 4:05 am ET.
