Following the release of Canada GDP data for May and industrial product price index for June at 8:30 am ET Wednesday, the loonie advanced against its major rivals.
The loonie was trading at 82.66 against the yen, 0.9052 against the aussie, 1.4641 against the euro and 1.3135 against the greenback around 8:31 am ET.
