At 8:30 am ET Friday, the U.S. retail sales and export and import prices for August have been released. The greenback traded mixed against its major counterparts after the data. While the greenback changed little against the pound, it ticked up against the rest of major counterparts.
The greenback was trading at 108.09 against the yen, 0.9872 against the franc, 1.2441 against the pound and 1.1088 against the euro around 8:33 am ET.
