Following the release of U.S. new home sales for August at 10:00 am ET Wednesday, the greenback traded mixed against its major counterparts. While the greenback dropped against the yen and the franc, it changed little against the euro and the pound.
The greenback was trading at 107.53 against the yen, 0.9870 against the franc, 1.0985 against the euro and 1.2382 against the pound around am ET.
