At 2.00 am ET Monday, Destatis is scheduled to issue Germany's factory orders data for February. Orders are expected to fall 2.5 percent on month, in contrast to a 5.5 percent rise in January.
Ahead of the data, the euro advanced against its major rivals. The euro was worth 1.0826 against the greenback, 118.07 against the yen, 1.0579 against the franc and 0.8849 against the pound as of 1:55 am ET.
