At 2.00 am ET Thursday, the Office for National Statistics has released UK monthly GDP, industrial and construction output and external trade figures. After the data, the pound rose slightly against its major counterparts.
The pound was trading at 134.73 against the yen, 1.2028 against the franc, 0.8772 against the euro and 1.2373 against the greenback around 2:02 am ET.
