The U.S. weekly jobless claims for the week ended April 11, building permits and housing starts for March have been released at 8:30 am ET Thursday. The greenback declined against its major counterparts after these data.
The greenback was trading at 1.0891 against the euro, 1.2498 against the pound, 0.9656 against the franc and 107.49 against the yen around 8:32 am ET.
