At 2.00 am ET Monday, Destatis is scheduled to release Germany's producer prices for June. Prices are forecast to drop 1.6 percent annually, slower than the 2.2 percent fall seen in May.
Ahead of the data, the euro advanced against its major rivals.
The euro was worth 122.81 against the yen, 1.0752 against the franc, 0.9128 against the pound and 1.1448 against the greenback as of 1:55 am ET.
