Germany's Gfk consumer confidence survey results are due at 2.00 am ET Tuesday. The forward-looking consumer confidence index is seen at -8.8 in January versus -6.7 in December.
Ahead of the data, the euro held steady against its major rivals.
The euro was worth 126.39 against the yen, 1.2219 against the greenback, 0.9117 against the pound and 1.0842 against the franc as of 1:55 am ET.
