Canada consumer inflation for March is due at 8:30 am ET Wednesday. Ahead of the data, the loonie traded mixed against its major counterparts. While it retreated against the greenback and the yen, it was steady against the euro. Against the aussie, it fell.
The loonie was worth 1.5144 against the euro, 85.70 against the yen, 0.9737 against the aussie and 1.2610 against the greenback as of 8:25 am ET.
