Following the release of Canada GDP data for the second quarter at 8:30 am ET Tuesday, the loonie fell slightly against its major rivals.
The loonie was trading at 87.11 against the yen, 1.2594 against the greenback, 1.4909 against the euro and 0.9220 against the aussie around 8:34 am ET.
