The eurozone's annual inflation rate reached its highest in nearly two years in September. However, some are still dubious if the European Central Bank can hit its 2% inflation goal as jobless rate escalated for three straight times.
The European statistics office said the unemployment rate stayed the same last month, recording at 10.1%. However, the number of unemployed people added 8,000, the second surge in three months.
Consumer prices touched its highest level since October 2014, gaining 0.4% in September. The climb in prices, not accounting energy, dropped 0.8%.
